Copyright notices

If you believe a project on Bedrock Graphics uses your work without permission, tell us. This page explains what to include, what happens next and how creators can respond.

Last updated: 15 October 2026

Creators may upload only their own work, or work they have documented permission to share (rules R-IP-1 and R-IP-4). This page describes our process; it is not legal advice.

Send a notice

Include all of the following, so we can act quickly:

  1. Your name and contact details (an email address we can reply to), and whether you are the rights holder or act on their behalf.
  2. The work you believe is infringed, with a link to the original if it is online.
  3. The exact address of each project or version on Bedrock Graphics, for example https://bedrockgraphics.com/texture-packs/example-pack.
  4. An explanation of why the content infringes your rights.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
  7. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough).

Send notices through the contact form with the subject "Copyright notice".

Incomplete notices may take longer, because we will need to ask for the missing details. Sending a notice you know to be false can have legal consequences.

What happens next

  1. We confirm receiptStaff reply to the contact address in your notice.
  2. Staff review itUsually within 3 business days. We may ask you for more information.
  3. Content is removedIf the notice is valid, we remove the content. Its page shows a short removal notice instead.
  4. Both sides are toldThe creator gets the reason and how to respond. You are told the outcome.

We share the notice details the creator needs in order to respond, which can include your name and the content of your notice.

Counter-notices

If your project was removed and you believe that was a mistake, or that you have the right to share it, you can send a counter-notice through the contact form. Include:

  1. Your name, contact details and your Bedrock Graphics username.
  2. The removed project or version and the address where it appeared.
  3. A statement that you believe in good faith that the content was removed by mistake or misidentification, with your reasons (for example, the permission you have).
  4. Your consent to the person who sent the notice receiving your counter-notice, including your contact details.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

We forward a complete counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. If they do not tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have started legal action, we may restore the content.

Copyright removals use this process instead of the regular appeal.

Repeat infringers

A valid copyright notice can add a strike to the creator's account (rule R-IP-8). Accounts with repeated valid notices lose upload access, and three valid notices can lead to suspension, as described in Enforcement.
